La semana pasada volví de mi último viaje antes de irme de este hermoso pais. Mi destino fue Valencia y después Alicante, donde fui para visitar una amiga de Austria que está estudiando allí. En Valencia me puse más a tono para la Navidad, toda la ciudad estaba decorada muy bonita (naranjos con luces de navidad, una pista de patinaje de hielo en el centro de la parte antigua de la ciudad, gente con gorros de Papa Noel haciéndose fotos en la playa. Lo que me más me gustó de la ciudad fue la gran diferencia que hay entre sus distintas partes, el precioso casco antiguo y el contraste con la parte más nueva.
En Alicante tuve la posibilidad de bailar salsa y bachata por primera vez en mi vida. Hemos participado en un taller de danza en un bar a lado de la playa. En realidad, me gustó mucho, pero prefería mirar a los demás como bailan que bailar yo. Bailaban casi como profesionales.
Last week I came back from my last trip before I am going to leave beautiful Spain. My destination was Valencia and continued to Alicante to visit a friend from Austria who is studying there. In Valencia I got a bit more ready for Christmas, the whole city was decorated really nice (orange trees with Christmas lights, an ice-skating rink in the middle of the old town, people in Santa’s hat taking pictures at the beach…). What I really liked about this city was the huge difference between the parts of Valencia, the beautiful old town and then the contrast to the newer one.
In Alicante I had the possibility to dance salsa and bachata for the first time in my life. We took part in a workshop in a bar next to the beach. Yes, I did really like it, but I preferred it more to look at the others how they were dancing around nearly like professionals.
